My name is Sarika and I'm not an alcoholic. I don't smoke nor have I ever touched any substances of the illegal variety. I tend to follow the rules. I don't think less of myself for it. I believe those who try too hard to "rebel" are actually the ones conforming the most.

My dad once told me I was "aloof." I don't think he meant it as a compliment.

I would say I am open as much as I am reserved. I would say I am outgoing as much as I am shy. I think about 100 other contradictions apply. I am everything and its opposite, all within the same person.

I think this can seem daunting, confusing, unnerving, for those who are familiar with it.

Although, over time, everyone seems to get used to me. But then, how many of those people really know me? Sometimes I wonder what there is to know.
